AboutMy name is Paul Caslin I am easy going with a good sense of humour but utterly professional in my attitude to work. I started doing Weddings and portraits professionally back in 2000 and initially worked for Kodak Weddings as a photographer using medium format film cameras. In 2001 I opened a general photography studio in Warrington, my main business and passion is people photography. I was accepted as a Licentiaite of the BIPP (British institute of Professional Photography) in 2005 and am also a qualified member of the SWPP. My wedding photography style leans towards reportage as I like to document the day. Having said this I am not a total purist. I feel some shots require a degree of direction otherwise you do end up with series of candid images which are not necessarily fully reflective of the day. There is a lot of investment in time, detail and preparation for an average wedding and if the photography is not structured then a lot of the important moments in the day will be missed. Imagine a wedding without any family or group shots. So I tend to blend the two and work with you to get the perfect record of your day. I always allow the couple to specify what type of photos they want to take and arrive at the right mix of natural and posed shots.
The wedding market has changed significantly during the time I have worked in the industry and prices to the consumer have actually dropped , partly due to market pressure and an increase in productivity brought about by new hardware and software. This is good news for the Bride and Groom as it has never been cheaper to have your wedding photographed by a professional photographer.
